At the end of the iniative, the following deliverables will have been achieved or initiated:

1. A quantified dataset on changes in pesticide use (including herbicides) in the tropics, overall and by crop.
2. An analysis of the potential for reduced pesticide use, by activating different technical options based on agroecological approaches and an analysis of the economic and financial conditions to activate those options.
3. Characterization of the main barriers/obstacles to reduction, and levers actionable through collective action, stakeholder organizations, or standards and regulations at public policy level.
4. For the different crop value chains, characterization of a road map and innovation trajectory (technical and partnerships) for pesticide reduction use,
5. Support from multi-stakeholder consortia or platforms for reduced pesticide use in both long export supply chains involving actors downstream based in Europe, and short supply chains in markets at the global South.
6. Identification of the future research needs to continue the process beyond the project period
7. A global advocacy building fuelled by data from the project to raise awareness from stakeholders and donors
