Fourteen research units (Cirad, Ird, Institut Agro Montpellier, CNRS) involved in analysing production and agroecological systems, identifying the lock-ins and levers for changes in agricultural systems, have come together in this initiative.

20 partner institutions from the South contribute to the project and students from the South will be trained thanks to this initiative. The project also seeks to structure a higher education and rinternational esearch community working to reduce pesticide use in tropical agricultures
